Our Story
In June of 2023 Paul our founder, was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease, this came after a long period of time of testing and not knowing what was happening to him. The news as I am sure you can imagine was a devastating blow to both Paul, his Partner Barbara and their family's and close friends. After taking some time to digest the news and all that came with it, Paul did much thinking and soul searching to go over his and his family's future. Paul and Barbara decided that while he was still able, that they would use this time to go on the holiday they had both dreamed off for many years, a trip to Egypt.
It was while they were on this trip of a life time that Paul had the idea! Combining his passion for his hobby for RPG game's and the trip itself, but also having the ability to support not only his family but also rase awareness of MND, build a community and also rase money for charity. He saw the opportunity to combine everything into a new experience. Paul had been playing the basic form of a new game, Candela Obscura with his friends and the group had found it to be one of there new favourite games. The idea of potentially playing that game along with other games such as D&D, Vampire the masquerade and other TTRPG's in unique locations around the world was an attractive idea and something he believed others would also share in his excitement for. After returning to the UK, Paul threw himself into researching the concept and found a number of companies already offering gaming holidays but NOTHING that compared to what he had envisioned for his own idea.
This was the core idea behind the vision of luxury TTRPG holiday's, but more than that the team wanted to be able to give back in ways that very few can or have done in the past. Taking inspiration from the legendary Critical Roll team, Marziali Travel will also be involved in razing funds and awareness for various charities ranging from the MND Association. Children in need, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Critical Role Foundation and many more. We plan to do this through our special events that will be held twice per year at some truly incredibly locations and with VIP and some other very special guests in attendance, Our special guests will be a few well deserving families or people that the community and our partners recommend that are deserving of or needing something special to help lift there spirits. We will also donate a portion of any subscriptions from our YouTube and blog posts in addition to the large events. To ensure that there is complete transparency with any and all donations we will be uploading links and ensuring that there is full accountability for any and all donations.

Several month's on and the countdown to our launch in 2024 has begun!, In January we launch our you tube channel were we will be discussing everything from new games, gaming idea's, live streaming some of our own adventures in D&D, exploring the Marziali Case's in Candela Obscura as well as talking about MND and how its effected not only Paul but the many thousands of people from around the world. In February of 2024 we will then launch our new Kickstarter and Crowdfunding campaign that will be aimed at helping get the business started as well as also launching the first of the major events to come in 2025..

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide unforgettable experiences for our guests while also raising funds and awareness for important charities such as MND Research and many more. We accomplish this through a variety of channels, including our new YouTube channel that will launch in March of 2024, merchandising, and our annual gala events that are held in some of the most spectacular locations around the world.
We each have a passion for what we do, we share a love for gaming, creating and telling intergang stories that lead our friends and guests into worlds never before seen or imagined. Combining the locations and venue's we chouse for you to then play those games in is all part of the experience. Join us as we explore those unimaged worlds and make a difference in to thousands in our own world!
What to expect
Once we receive your travel request and have all the relevant information needed we will be able to send you through your quotation for the trip you have selected. this will include a breakdown in the itinerary for the trip and all that's included.
When you arrive!
You will be met and collected from the destination airport by a member of the team who will make sure you are transferred to your accommodation and are checked in.
We offer 7 nights per trip ( but we can and do organise longer stays upon request), 5 nights of which will be for gaming and other entertainment!
For some gaming evenings we will be at some special locations to help enhance the atmosphere and the overall gaming experience. Each gaming session will last at least 4 hour's with most running well past that! our own sessions normally run for 6 hours at a time, after gaming and some times during, you will be able to have dinner. this will also depend on the location your at as to when this will happen. the day's them selves are for you to relax and enjoy the location. Our trips and events are just as much about relaxing as they are about gaming.
Hobby retreats and masterclasses will be the same as above and bellow with the exception of locations changing.
Day's 1 to 7
Day 1: you will need to make your own way to your departure airport (unless transfers have been requested) were you will take your flight to your destination, the rest of the day will be as stress free as possible after your traveling (depending on your flight time) were you will be brought to your accommodation and then after a short rest we will bring you out for dinner with ourselves were we can all get properly introduced to one another over a few drinks.
Day 2 to 6: Gaming will run in the evenings only, unless otherwise stated leaving you free to either explore the local region and sights, relax on the beach or unwind with some retail therapy with the numerous shopping spots that are available. We also offer other experiences that will also be available (advanced booking is needed for these experiences) ranging from local Wine tasting or Beer tasting, Day trips to selected locations or other events of interest depending on the Location you have travelled to.
Day 7: will be your last chance to grab any last minuet gifts (depending on your departure flight time) your bags will be collected and stored in a safe location once you have checked out of the accommodation so you don't have to worry about dragging it around with you. You will be collected and transferred to the departing airport were you will make take your flight back to home.
